getting quiver
I currently only have packages for ubuntu. Based on your version of ubuntu, add one of the following lines to your /etc/apt/sources.list file.
Ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy) repository:
deb http://mike.yi.org/packages/ubuntu gutsy main
Ubuntu 7.04 (feisty) repository:
deb http://mike.yi.org/packages/ubuntu feisty main
Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) repository:
deb http://mike.yi.org/packages/ubuntu edgy main
Ubuntu 6.04 (dapper) repository:
deb http://mike.yi.org/packages/ubuntu dapper main
Once that is done, run the following commands:
sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install quiver
maemo
I very recently started porting quiver to the Maemo Platform (for the Nokia N800 internet tablet). You can see the details of this on the QuiverForMaemo page.
faq
why did you call it quiver?
quick image viewer.
why did you make it?
i have been wanting to try making a linux program in gtk for a long time and i finally got around to it. i decided to make an image viewer because the other viewers available for gnome did not function the way i wanted them to.
